Facebook makes it more difficult to fake accounts

I am not sure when Facebook started to implement this, but temporary email is no longer enough to register a face account. Facebook have implemented all sorts of security measures to help it’s staff fight fake accounts and probably fake news.

If your security score is low, for example coming from an ip who registered multiple accounts, or using a temp email address. They will demand you verify using a phone number which is harder to fake. Another thing our users tell us is they request a photo of your face and analyze it in real time to probably find out if it’s unique.

I guess it’s a good step to help stop spam and fake likes, but what about privacy?a bit too big brother for my taste…
