Post offices share role in rural communities

Kaye O’Donnell, owner of this town’s barbershop, may be of retirement age, and 16-year-old Nick Lafler may still be in high school, but the distance between their ages became irrelevant when they sized up the impact on small towns as rural post offices are pushed toward obscurity.
